The last week I spent most of my time getting ready for non-winter months. This isn’t a very exciting time of the year, but it is great to get things organized.
The latter part of the week was preparing for a third weekend storm in a row. Apparently we are getting another next weekend as well. I got all the gas cans filled up and it was a good thing because over the last two days it has been so snowy and dark, the solar panels were all but useless. The snow was intense for a while and it might be hard to tell from the picture below but the snowflakes were huge! That smudge in the middle isn’t a smudge it’s a snowflake. For about an hour they looked more like snowballs than snowflakes.
In any event there was not much to do but enjoy family who were visiting for the weekend and make candles and candle melts. I used the finished melts as the image at the top of the post as they had to dry overnight. They turned out really well. We use all natural Soya Wax so they don’t smell as much as if it were parafin wax but I like it better. Hopefully I will be well stocked for Christmas fairs.
Have a great week!
